markets to expand their sales, but rather a program to target potential
customers in a local, regional, or national area.
Our consultants analyze past sales and potential sales determining the
profile for the highest probability target companies. For the geographic
area the manufacturer wants to penetrate, we contact a selection of target
companies and qualify them to determine if they buy the types of products
or services offered by our client, the annual volumes, specific kinds
purchased, how they find out about the types of products or services our
client offers, how they qualify new vendors, and other key market information
depending on our client's needs.
Based on the market research information obtained, we assist our manufacturing
clients focus the selection criteria of target companies and create a
final target list with all necessary contact information. Depending on
their abilities and resources, Koch Group consultants will guide the selling
efforts to target companies or we will directly sell for them if needed
until they are capable of handling the increased selling and marketing
efforts themselves.
